The number of European citizens seeking cosmetic surgery in Prague has grown dramatically. This has led to an increase in demand for cosmetic surgery procedures and the emergence of a medical tourism industry that is worth billions of dollars in the EU alone.

The need to lose weight has been proven time and time again. No matter what, people want to look slimmer and better. People spend huge sums of money on cosmetic procedures, knowing that they'll be in good shape as soon as the procedure is complete.

Another reason that medical tourism is on the rise is that many people looking for cosmetic procedures can have those procedures done while they visit a country they've never seen before. They get the procedure at a greatly reduced cost and get to immerse themselves in a new culture, see amazing sights and eat delicious local food and drink.

That being said, Prague has become one of the leading cities for medical tourism and aesthetic procedures for both of these factors, cost and sightseeing, and with good reason. We'll take a look at these reasons in this short article, Why Prague is a Great Destination for Medical Tourism. In this article, we will help you get the best personal experience from your medical travel. Enjoy!

Prague is Simply Beautiful

Charles Bridge in Prague at dawn. Czech Republic Established in 1993 when it broke away from Slovakia, the Czech Republic is a relatively small country with a very rich history.
At the centre of it all is Prague, which is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. The music and art scene in Prague is the envy of Europe, which is really saying something, and the architecture there rivals anything in Belgium and France. With castles and chateaus aplenty, quaint towns and plenty of natural beauty to take in, Prague is a delight for all the senses.

Prague Has A Healthcare System that Equals Any City in Europe Safety is always an issue when seeking any type of cosmetic medical procedure. To that end, Prague has worked tirelessly to meet and exceed the standards of western medicine. With a better infant mortality rate than both the UK and the US, universal healthcare and better outcomes than EU averages, you can put your safety concerns aside when looking for medical tourism options in Prague.

There's Practically No Language Barrier in Prague Although they might not agree in France, English has become the language of business in the EU and, in Prague, you can speak it in practically every medical clinic. German, Russian and of course Czech are also spoken in many clinics, making the language barrier disappear when you go there for a procedure.  After all, Prague is very welcoming for foreign patients.

What Medical Procedures are Most Popular in Prague?

If you're searching for a medical clinic that provides cosmetic surgery, dental procedures, stem cell therapy and more, Prague is a great destination. The clinics are, as mentioned before, as good or better than western standards for cleanliness and hygiene, and the medical specialists are some of the most highly trained in the EU. Some of the procedures that they offer include;

A reader gives her opinion on Prague as a cosmetic surgery tourist…

                    cosmetic surgery in prague

*I've been living in London for the past five months and recently got some facelift surgery in Prague, the Czech Republic.

I've always wanted to visit Europe, so I took the opportunity when I was offered a job at my current company. It's been a wild ride, but I'd love to share some of the details of my adventure.

                    Step 1: Choose Your Destination

I chose Prague because it's close to Germany and Austria. It's also an easy flight from London, and some of my friends live there. It's also relatively inexpensive compared to other European destinations.

                    Step 2: Find Accommodations

Since I'm only here for a month, I didn't want to spend too much money. I found a place that's reasonably priced in the city center. It's within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and public transportation.

                    Step 3: Explore the City

When I arrived in Prague, the first thing I did was head straight to the Old Town Square. I was amazed by its size. Even after living in the United States for so long, I'm still surprised by how large cities are in Europe.

The next day I spent some time exploring the city. I visited Prague Castle and climbed the Astronomical Clock. There were also lots of historic buildings nearby.

                    Step 4: Explore the Countryside

After two weeks of living in the city, I decided it was time to explore the countryside. My host suggested a trip to the Chateau Duchovny.

We had a great time at the chateau. It's a castle and museum dedicated to the history of Bohemia and Moravia. We even got to see the original chandelier from the original Prague Castle.

                    Step 5: Take a Vacation

I also visited Prague's Charles Bridge. This was the first time I saw a bridge like this. I wish I could have spent more time there.

Step 6: Visit Some Local Markets

One of the main reasons I chose Prague is that it's a great city for shopping. There are lots of markets where you can find some really unique items.

There are lots of markets in Prague. One of the most popular is the Na Prikope. The name means “under the bridges” and refers to the location. There are lots of vendors selling all sorts of things including food, clothing, electronics, and more.

The next day I went to the Prague Flea Market. This market is a little different. Instead of being under the bridges, it's set up in a park. It's mostly stalls selling used furniture and clothes.

Step 7: See the Prague Zoo

The zoo is in the centre of Prague. It's home to lots of animals including pandas, lions, and bears. The zoo also has a small zoo train.

                    Step 8: Enjoy the Nightlife

After a few days of exploring, I finally had some free time. I headed to the Prague Beer Museum.

This museum is located in the oldest brewery in the city. The tours take you through the entire process of making beer.

I also went to a club called Triton. The party scene in Prague is pretty active. I didn't go because I was already planning on going out.

For me, the main attraction of Prague as a medical tourism destination is its affordability. Prices are much lower than in other major European cities. The prices are comparable to US cities like New York.

Prague has a reputation for being safe, clean and pleasant. This is mostly because of its well-maintained infrastructure and its friendly people.

Breast Enlargement Surgery – UK Women Least Happy With Breast Size.

There was a very interesting article about breast enlargement in the Times newspaper this week that pointed out that British women have more dissatisfaction with the size of their breasts than anywhere else. Indeed, so much of the UK tabloid media and reality TV has focused on breast size and shape.

This has been a constant source of annoyance to the women's liberation movement and most arbiters of good taste. There I, however a serious consequence to this breast cult. More than two-thirds of women are unsatisfied with their breast size, making them less likely to perform important cancer checks.

The largest study of its kind, published in the journal Body Image has found that across the world only 29 per cent of women were happy with the size of their breasts, with 48 per cent wishing they were bigger and 23 per cent wanting to be smaller.

Of all the countries surveyed, British women exhibited the largest difference between breast size and preferred size, with a greater desire on average for a larger bust than in any other nation. The women most comfortable with their own breast size were those from Ghana, Colombia, Spain, Paraguay and Indonesia.

Breast enhancement surgery is quite straightforward. There are many ways to perform breast enlargements. The method must be tailored to individual patient needs. The principal is to create a pocket under the breast tissue and place a breast implant into that pocket. The breast enlargement operation is done under either local anaesthetic (you are awake) or general anaesthetic (you are asleep).

Viren Swami , a professor of social psychology at Anglia Ruskin University, said that there were other public health implications from the findings. One of the things we found was that there was a significant association between breast satisfaction and psychological wellbeing. he said. If a woman is more dissatisfied with her breasts she is also more likely to have lower self-esteem and be unhappy.

                    boob job at

From our own research, we are aware that UK women are the most enthusiastic users of our site googling' queries such as the cheapest country for breast enhancement' and cheap boob jobs'. We know that countries such as Turkey and Dubai are currently offering very good deals on breast enlargement and we hear that the Czech Republic is gaining ground quickly.

Boob job prices in the UK start from £3,745 and increase to over £6,000, with the average cost sitting at £4,200. The price depends on a number of factors including the size and type of implants you want, the surgeon you use and the surgical provider you go for. At the American Aesthetic Clinic in Istanbul, for example, Ergin Er their plastic surgeon seems to offer breast implant packages at around the $3200 mark.

The Nirunda clinic in Bangkok charges around $5000 with all tests and a night in the clinic and post-operative attention. It's important to bear all of these factors in mind when planning your boob job, without being tempted to make a quick decision based on price alone. These prices are just estimates and depend on the individual patient and the type of implant they choose.

Can I have breast enlargement surgery without a breast implant?

                    1. Using a similar concept to Brazilian Butt implant you can get ‘fat transfer' surgery instead of a silicone implant. Breast enlargement fat transfer is a less invasive surgery than a breast enlargement using implants.
                    2. Your surgeon does not need to make many cuts during your treatment. They will inject the fat into your breasts, meaning you should have a minimal amount of scarring if any. Some people also find the results of a fat transfer to be more natural-looking.
                    3. Furthermore, breast enlargement fat transfer not only increases the size of your breasts, but it can help improve the symmetry and the shape of your breasts.
                    4. Finally, the technique of fat grafting also has the benefit of removing fat from other areas of the body by using liposuction. This means that you can improve the appearance of two parts of your body with just one procedure!

According to the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK, It's fairly common after breast implant surgery to have: temporary pain, swelling and bruising a tight feeling in your chest for a few weeks Breast implants can occasionally result in some short and long term problems.,

Obviously these are topics you would discuss with your trusted medical practitioner before entering into surgery.

South Korea has many talented rhinoplasty surgeons due to the high number of medical tourists that travel from all over the world.

Due to the high number of Rhinoplasty procedures in South Korea, Nose surgery is called the ‘basics.’ Among other Asian countries, the cost of Rhinoplasty in South Korea can be a little high. However, in comparison to first-world countries like the United States of America, the U.K., and Germany, the price is pretty affordable.

Places in South Korea: Seoul is the hub of many cosmetic centers that specialize in liposuction- and Rhinoplasty.

Thailand has maintained its position as one of the most frequented medical tourism destinations in the world. Thailand’s praiseworthy mention is predominately due to its remarkably low operation costs and the first-class service they give medical tourists. It’s hardly surprising that medical tourism in Thailand increased by a staggering 16% in 2019 – and these impressive numbers aren’t showing signs of slowing down either. To bolster its already excellent features as an excellent destination for your nose surgery, the cost of Rhinoplasty surgery in Thailand costs about 30 percent less when compared to other first world countries like the United States.

Close-up of female face being measured by plastic surgery doctor

When compared to other cosmetic procedures, Rhinoplasty can be technically

demanding. Before you zoom off to the country of your choice, you need to be eligible. Although there are no particular age restrictions, experts recommend patients should be above 15 before undergoing any nose surgery.

As an adult, if you meet these requirements, you are suitable for Rhinoplasty

                    • Too small or too wide nostrils
                    • Asymmetrical noses
                    • Humps on the bridge or tip of the nose
                    • An extra-large nose that is uneven when compared to the rest of your face.

Top tip: Make sure you have realistic expectations before your surgery. Rhinoplasty is more suitable for people who are aiming for minor improvements rather than people that want major impractical changes.

                    Risk of Rhinoplasty

The risks of Rhinoplasty are usually minimal, and in the hands of a professional nose surgeon, the risks are even smaller.

Rhinoplasty is a generally safe procedure that should not cause scarring or any other complications. However, in some rare cases, excess bleeding, infection, and complications with anesthesia can occur. The good news is, these risks can easily be managed.

Top tip: To avoid unnecessary surgery complications, avoid smoking, drinking coffee, and medications containing aspirin or ibuprofen a month before you go on the table for your nose surgery.

                    Wrap Up!

Rhinoplasty is a procedure that can change skin, bone, cartilage, or all three. So, if you’re on the hunt for a reliable and quality nose surgery at an affordable price, these countries are fantastic destinations to scout.

After your surgery, it takes about two weeks to recover fully – Although, most people feel normal a week after the surgery. I suggest you explore the marvellous cities you’re in. You’d be surprised at the fantastic delicacies and activities you’d find exciting.
